A place worth visiting is the beautiful lake Dasia, located west of the plateau of mount Ziria at an altitude of 1,600 meters and is one of the most mountainous lakes of Greece. The lake is relatively small but beautiful and is surrounded by pine trees and wildflowers. An islet is formed in the middle of the lake. The center of free horseback riding and mountain activities started its operation in September 2006 at Rethi of Corinth, near the famous city of Trikala.
